I like yoga. I should do it more often. It’s exercise, as well as a good way to wind down at the end of the day. Namaste everyone!

Last month I only wrote about one and a half chapters for my fantasy novel. This month, I managed to do four and a half!

Small achievement, but it’s progress made and I’m pretty chuffed about it! 🥳

Writing Tip:
Take the time to just enjoy reading your own work. Don't treat it like a job. Try and enjoy the moments you're writing/editing. Your reader will be able to sense that enthusiasm in your work. Passion creates passion, after all. So have fun with it!

Never mind Bleak House, just saw Tom Clancy’s ‘Bear and the Dragon’. It’s a monster - 1000 pages 😳
How can people write that much in one book?

Browsing the book section of a charity shop and stumbled upon ‘Bleak House’. Never read it before, and I never realised how big it was! 800+ pages 🤯

If my reading list wasn’t so long already I might have bought it. Maybe next time.

Just finished reading 1984. So bleak (and scarily prescient) but a great book. Might be my favourite dystopian novel. I’d highly recommend it!

Completed chapter 8, and I got about 1300 words into chapter 9. I'm almost at the 25K word threshold for the novel, and I am so excited to see it becoming more than just daydreams dancing around in my head. Good things are happening!
