Fark finally asks Spark to date him after their prolonged friendship with benefite, which seemingly goes opposite to what he expected.

Spark can't help but be distraught. His inner demons getting the worst out of him. As his deepest fear is to let someone down again. Not again.

Of course Fark's little brother has to come in and pour salt into the wound, but promptly gets the memo something bad has happened. Maybe bothering him again another time.

Fark cannot help but feel deep depression. Firstly having enjoyed to finally express his feelings to someone he cares, but going back to his hard shell. Spark no longer there, gor good.

As they grew up, Perican and her family had to move away into a more urban environment, but they would still go visit Cota and their family. As time passed, and each visit happened, Cota looked at Perican and how determined she was to go to Luna to study. Cota started to see her as a different +

Cota was always satisfied about their life on Earth and their zone since childhood, but Perican was always a visionary kid, wanting to learn more about her own planet and beyond, that being Luna. Cota wasn't against her ideals but never understood what's so interesting on Luna. +

Cota is one of those Earth formies whose family came from a generation where jester hats are unusable, so they can't acquire real powers. Cota is from a rather rural zone and lived with their childhood friend, Perican. Perican and Cota lived near eachother so they would spend time together often. +

Lemme recontextualize rq: I have the HC that Formies that took over Earth learned how to make technology and nature coexist, some formies even ceasing from using jester hats as generations passed, which affected them genetically, having little to no connection to the jester hats.

(i think i did ramble about them here once but i decided to tweak some bits of the story + revamp their design since i never felt satisfied w any, this one is close to acceptable atm so okay k can go w this)

her studies, she can't go back to Earth now, to which he understood, and waited for her to graduate so they could go to Earth together. +

This led for Perican to talk to him about her home planet, Earth. She loves Luna and all that is within, but she appreciated the peaceful nature that goes on on Earth, this perked Char. io's curiosity and wanted her to be his tour guide. But since Perican was busy with +

Sometime later, Char. io reflected upon his purpose, and while he does appreciate the courage and need to protect people, he also feels overwhelmed by threats that are soon to come and how it would affect him, eventually wishing for a more peaceful life later on. +

The more Perican visited him, the more confident Char. io grew about his skills and himself, and possibly, finally found a reason to protect everybody, and someone specifically. He even wanted to be Perican's guardian GPA at some point, but she refused so he could be his own "person". +
