Our PhD student Aneira Williams participated in the first #FunDive Barcoding Campaign in Warsaw. Together with 17 other participants, she extracted DNA from 216 fungal specimens and prepared 192 samples for Nanopore sequencing! Quite an exciting first week of the PhD! @jzpawlowska.bsky.social

Taxonomists everywhere, and perhaps especially in the USA: tomorrow is #TaxonomistAppreciationDay! I see you, I hear you, we need you!
