Dutton has suggested legislating Jan26 as #AustraliaDay to prevent future date changes. Why not choose a date that doesn't celebrate invasion & dispossession? Why not choose a date that unifies rather than divides?! Jan26 only became Australia Day in 1935, and a public holiday in 1994! 🙄 #auspol

I fear there is deep truth here.

1. The country town nuances were spot on.
2.Her clear characterisations of people meant that I could 'see' them clearly
