Britain was ‘dependent on energy imports’ through the 14 years of Tory rule from 2010-24. Their policies actually made us *more* dependent on oil and gas imports, not least of all Osborne’s decision to ‘dash for gas’ fired power stations and the ban on English wind farms.

I hope anyone with a Reform, Tory or Green MP is sharing their thoughts with them. They all just look like dangerous traitors at this point

Most of them seem to be gossip columnists rather than interested in trying to understand any complex issues of any kind. So many are stale and have no curiosity. I think they need to hand the reins over to younger colleagues who have a real stake in the future of this country

An increase in the numbers of people needing to flee will give them more rubbish to feed the hard of thinking and fuel the performatively cruel headlines where they point the finger to encourage us to be afraid of the wrong people
