Unfortunatly the reasons few people still do it is because it costs more resources and most of tutorials are already in the game when introducing new mechanic. I miss the period where you could have books with tips and cheats!

(Year 3) First time ever in 2000h of Stardew Valley trying a forest farm. The layout is bad, but the fact you have quick access to the hardwood is awesome. Near 100%, just need the Golden Clock (which is why I maxed out the trees to have better access to keg and bee hives) and start having pigs
