I’m struggling w/ the walking boot referencing the stiffness it is causing in my leg. I walked into the VA w/ a slight limp, now I find it difficult to walk w/o crutches. I think it’s due to the lack of mobility from the boot.

I’m diagnosed w/ a torn gastrocnemius (calf muscle) and no idea how. Thought it was soreness, but pain only worsened. The VA ER staff took care of me. Rest and no activity as per the doc’s orders.
