While the world is focussed on the events of the Middle East, these are just three of the stories from Keir Starmer’s government in the last 24 hours.

A wonderful moment as we welcome a brand new addition to the family. Mum did so well, and a special thank you to the team at the midwife led Bluebell unit at Warwick Hospital.
His two older brothers are so proud of mum and baby.

I am, simply, bursting with love and joy.

I am saying the arguments about our economic demise due to Brexit are false. And I have given two examples why. The first because it is a Labour government that has driven us to this point, the second because being in the EU didn’t shield the largest economy in the European Union from recession

I was the tech minister who rejoined Horizon and other EU science programs - key is it was our choice. We negotiated to our benefit. Starmer will not.

I have and I believe that to be a false argument - trade is higher, we are now part of CPTPP which represents 15% of global gdp and we maintained 98% of our relationship with the EU. Starmer will negotiate something that will cost us taxpayer’s money and sovereignty.

Unemployment is the highest it’s been since the last Labour government … under a new Labour government. Oh and btw Germany was in recession between 23-25 … Germany is in the EU

Yes plenty, you have inspired my next article. And it is short sighted to think sovereignty doesn’t have its own value albeit it would be harder to value but again that is why the 4% model is flawed.

Saqib Bhatti: Brexit didn’t cost us 4 per cent, but Labour will argue it did anyway | Conservative Home Starmer’s attacks on Brexit and its impact on the economy are as predictable as they are risible. A desperate Keir Starmer will argue anything to save himself including that Brexit cost us 4% and in the process will diminish our sovereignty.

I discuss it here πŸ‘‡

A much more relevant poll would be what percentage of the British public think Keir Starmer should resign.

His only incentive is to save himself and if you believe otherwise, I have a bridge to sell you.

Any Labour MP who thinks McSweeney going will change anything is deluding themselves.

Remember Starmer said last week HE knew about Mandelson’s relationship with Epstein and went ahead anyway.

The rot starts at the top.

The latest Knowledge is Power discusses exactly this πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡

β€œReeves under pressure to duck out of giving Spring Statement to avoid unsettling the financial markets”. As worrying as this statement is, surely a Chancellor doing a runner is not a great vote of confidence in their own economic management. Just a thought. 🀯🀯🀯

The buck stops with the Prime Minister.

Operation Save Starmer will be in full swing today. Mcsweeney - PM’s chief of staff is at the heart of all the bad decisions Starmer has made including Mandelson’s appointment.

Ultimately though Starmer is answerable

An eloquent analysis of how the schools bill will harm opportunities and chances for our children and hurt the teaching profession at the same time.

Labour’s approach embodies the soft bigotry of low expectations - our children deserve better!

Bad law is still bad law, no matter the objective. Trying to force it through, to avoid scrutiny, is just proof that its proponents know how flawed it is.

Ultimately it is the British public who are at risk if this goes through without the proper scrutiny.

Our young people deserve better than this Labour government.

700,000 graduates are out of work and claiming one or more benefits because Reeves broke the Jobs Market.

The Conservatives will end 'debt trap’ degrees, double apprenticeship funding and Get Britain Working Again.

Knowlege is Power While the domestic agenda continues to be packed it is foreign policy that has dominated the headlines this week.

From National Insurance to online safety, Chagos, protecting our churches, and Donald Trump’s comments on our Armed Forces, 2026 is anything but quiet.

Politics is about choices. I set out the consequences.
