Things that never happened for $1 million.

No miracle. The Ville with a 30% effort loses to Sideline Cancer and are eliminated. Then the Sideline team went after the current UofL players in attendance and it almost got out of hand.

The Ville fought back to make it a 5 point game but give up a layup to trail 65-58. Elam ending now in effect. Target score is 73.

The Ville trying to mount a comeback but can’t get out of their own way. Missing layups and leaving 3 pt shooters open. Start of 4th they trail 60-44.

The Ville is down 47-26 to a team with only 7-8 players that almost beat them last year. No defense. No flow. No communication. It’s been a long time since I left a game at half….

After 1 The Ville is getting handled by Sideline Cancer and the officials. As bad as we are playing the refs are matching it. The Ville is down 23-12 with 6 missed free throws already. Guys don’t look ready.

At the half The Ville leads 39-31 in a roughly called game. Cards started slow and found their stride but got a little sloppy to close the half.

Someone needs to explain to me why a major news outlet or Dem congressperson has not requested an FOIA on ICE employees. They are federal employees and should be open to review.
If they are worried about being harassed maybe find a new line of work.

Dan addressed the pitching decision this morning on the radio. Personally I don’t think it would matter who we put out there, Coastal is the best team we played all year.

Nope. UofL pitchers were worn out. Making it thru the losers bracket is near impossible. No way of knowing who has it or doesn’t. Plus, Coastal is better than we are. They are built for this, we aren’t there yet.

Cards give up 2 more to go down 8-0 but then scratch out 3 runs and we’re a couple of great stabs by Coastal from having a bigger inning. Bottom 6 and Cards trail 8-3.

Thru 4 it’s scoreless….at least since Coastal hung 6 on the Cards in the first. 6-0 Cards are down and it’s not really that close. Cards have stranded enough runners to make it interesting. The kids magical ride might be out of gas.

Cards lose

After a furious comeback to tie the game the Cards lose in a walk off. The Cards could not get out of their own way. They played well, not good enough this time of year. Too many missed opportunities.

Can’t say the Cards haven’t had their chances. They have been their main opponent today. Bottom 8 cards trail 3-1. 3 outs left.

Cards keep stranding runners, luckily so does OSU. Still 3-1 OSU top 8.

Cards with another fumbled ball in the infield to load the bases. Relief pitcher comes in and OSU only gets 1 and leaves the bases full cards trail 3-1 and are running out of outs. Top 7.

Cards finally make some noise and run the starter off and score 1 but strand 2 in scoring position. Cards trail 2-1 bottom 6.
