Yeah I learned other mummy facts from talking to people while I’ve been working on this. The bodies were also used by Egyptian railmen to fuel locomotives. And they were ground up for medicine to cure a variety of ailments in Europe.

Just ‘mummy brown’ paint. Not all paint had mummy in it.

Because paint used to be created from actually mummies up until the 1960s. Not this kind like the Egyptian wrapped humans and cats.

That’s really nice! Do you find gauche more versatile than watercolor? I have some I just haven’t played with it yet short of cheating on watercolor lol.
