Wonder now turned to the narrowing of eyes in immediate scepticism seeing something magical. Questioning the realness of everything from a stilted written apology to profound works by students in school. It feels like a slow poison to creativity and humanity at large. so much i could say about how this ruling proves women, cis and trans alike, are the same class in a world that despises them both. womanhood can be revoked at any time. even sex assignment at birth, something transphobes SWEAR is ironclad, doesn't matter--you can be un-gendered at any time.

And perhaps most importantly, I've realised that the division 2 has a similar skeleton to my game Defence of Babylon.

Of course it being a video game and dob being a tabletop role-playing game. I'm not sure how much of it is transferable but I definitely want to do something to make missions better

Early game does a good job of building on the first games story without massive exposition or requiring you to have played it.

Once you get to end game and transition into what must have been the games season structure...it falls apart.

A whole fully populated settlement appears out of thin air.

The rarest and best guns in the game, have cosmetic features that make me not want to use them.

The legendary guns have sculpted accoutrement and strange particle effects that make them look like guns that couldn't exist... And that breaks the tone/vibe of the game... And so I don't use them.

Despite the missions pretty much all being identical, they somehow managed to remain engaging.

They have this structure of go-to place, push button, kill guys, push a different button, kill boss, leave.

I think they stay fresh by always coming up with unique dressing for that mission.

It's almost a game about Anarchist Communities.

The post-catastrophe settlements you help out are well on their way to fixing their own problems when your character walks onto the scene.

The people there are working together, and it feels like your character is a catalyst rather than a saviour.

I've been very distracted the last 2 weeks, by the Division 2. So distracted in fact, I have found it difficult to not play the game.

Here are some observations:

Ethan, a robot soldier that fights alongside the main character.

There's some solid compilations on YouTube showing his best moments.

He's kinda similar to TARS from Interstellar... In characterisation not physical design.

And it has one of the best robot characters in all of science fiction

What in the actual fuck? Googles AI basically hallucinated that I somehow accused my podcast host & close friend of toxic behavior & harassment - killing her channel. Keep in my, Vera and I host a podcast together regularly and are good friends and her channel is amazing. This is absolutely fucked.

I feel like every game of yours I've ever looked at had a lot of polish, where as I often fire things off half baked.

This game sounds sick as hell!!

So I've been trying to relax after three straight weeks of doing gaming events around the country.

What does that look like for me?

Started doing some casual game design on a sequel to black skies for Babylon.

Finished playing some video games.

Went bird watching for the first time.
