At the start of the year I set myself a target to go out running 100 times. Generally only 5k each run but I have gone out consistently, stayed injury free and avoided illness. Tonight was my 100th run and it feels good to reach my target in September. Just need to keep going now 😁

Enjoyable day walking in the Lake District with my youngest on Saturday. It was a long day walking but some great views and so nice to be out on the fells 😁

Had a nice walk up Causey Pike this morning. A few of the higher fells obscured by cloud, but some breathtaking views nonetheless. A comfortable walk and feeling much fitter after 12 months of running and healthier eating 😊

I’ve never read or watched anything written by Jane Austin, but really enjoyed Pride and Prejudice at Theatre by the Lake tonight. Brilliant cast and performance made for a very enjoyable night out 🎭

We didn’t even need Parkrun, Egret spotting or jigsaws to get a result today 😁😁😁

4 reminds me of the ginnel between Pine Walks and Golf Links Road in Prenton, but I’m sure there are lots of similar places across the oblong.

Villages by the Sea is at Runswick Bay tonight. Just burst out laughing at Ben Robinson referring to a headland with some caves called ‘Randy Bell End’. Someone with a filthy sense of humour picked that one 😂

I’m pretty sure the same thing happened last year, but managed to pull a squad together for the start of the season. Hopefully for the supporters, they get things sorted for this season.

Much better to have another north west team back in League 2. Better atmosphere and attendance for the home game and a nice local away trip. Norwood loves a Wembley goal doesn’t he? 😁

Lovely sunny day yesterday at Sewerby Parkrun with my eldest son Lewis. Set off downhill and a little fast so I was hanging on at the end especially on the uphill sections, but a really nice course with some great views and a coffee at the finish 😀

Thanks Andrew. Went out on the Yorkshire Belle today, but no dolphins unfortunately. Hopefully still time to spot some later this week.

Over on the east coast at Sewerby. Beautiful coastline to walk along and blue sky and sunshine all day. Finished the day with a 5k run into Bridlington and back along the coastal path. A very peaceful and relaxed day😁

Great to get an away win on the final day of the season. Well played Tranmere. It may be a lot of superstitious nonsense but Tranmere results on the days I have completed Parkrun are wwdwdww 🤷🏻‍♂️ I’m gonna use that as motivation to start well before March next year! #swa

I went on a run anyway this morning, but it clearly has to be a Parkrun to count. Only two defeats recently have been on a Tuesday and Friday when there isn’t one. Pinning my hopes on the next two Saturday games 🤞

I’m staying in Sewerby next month. Looking forward to doing this one while I’m there. Great pics 😁

Haha me too! Setting off at 8am for Parkrun every Saturday has been ok, and it’s been great for my wellbeing but I’m looking forward to a lie in when this season is over!
