also just in general it makes for a killer aesthetic if you draw it from scratch, i need more detail on this one but overall it looks unlike anything else atm (and i wanna put it as the dominant rendering primitive in my xr display server and use its properties for good UX)

there's 1 thing that I can name that if it got mainstream popularity would be its own aesthetic, and that's gaussian splatting... it's a medium with its own artifacts that has a very distinctive look and it's very easy to attach moods like dreaming and imagination to its fuzzy blobs...

idk, i don't see much of this or remember much of it... and much of that sounds like neo aesthetics

then there's the slop wave which like... idk even how to describe that given its whole soup aesthetic where it's nothingness, as most aesthetics come from a mood and technical limitations constraining their aesthetic space... but AI doesn't have a mood or technical limitations!

just started using claude code and context management has always plagued me on every single LLM so i sure hope this can get the agent to compact everything relevant so my train of thought isn't interrupted but catastrophic forgetting doesn't happen anymore!!

and understanding aesthetics lets you peel them back and see what's underneath! if you can identify and classify multiple aesthetics on 1 thing you can better discern the separation... is a music player today and in the 90s any different? they sure look different... but now i can see they aren't!

idk, i totally love the aesthetics of things all over and want to immerse myself in things... but also enjoy a good story too? they're not mutually exclusive...
