Microsoft Envisions a New Era — AI Integration in Windows 2030? The company has teased multiple times that the future of Windows will be one where the OS is agentic, capable of handling entire workflows on your behalf, just by asking for it.

At this point I'm seriously considering the chance that copilot is going to legitimately kill Windows.

so what's the solution for people to not feel their work is undermined and keep getting enough money to live doing the work they love?

there are limited cases where it's helpful, like double checking a protocol was implemented properly when fed the docs and code (I've used it to fix my Wayland impl) but yeah, it v stupid... people keep treating it as more than a tool :(

because they focused on accessibility so much in theory without testing it in practice that they ended up making something that follows all the rules and sucks because the rules suck

have you tried tineye for reverse image search btw?

i think it's a system in your brain you can activate if you find the right mental button to push or such... that's how stuff works for me at least
