A red ceramic crock holds broiled French Onion Soup which includes the most annoyingly labor intensive broth I have ever made.

Furlough food: made French Onion soup from scratch. Making the broth was a chore, and caramelizing that much onion was time consuming to say the least. Turned out well though!
