AI Is Power-Hungry And consumers are paying the price

The truth is, business is often lousy at solving problems, and the number of bankruptcies and deep problems shows just how bad business managers can be. Examples: McDonnell Douglas. And then Boeing, who hired to run the business the same people who flew McDonnell Douglas into the ground.

As for politics… Let’s just say I’m a progressive in the old line FDR sense of the word and I want to help restore the promise of that era. We made mistakes but we were making progress until we were convinced that government was the problem and that business could solve problems better and cheaper.

BTW: The “Analyst” in my handle has nothing to do with stocks bonds etc, even though I do have an MBA after my name. It comes from what I did in the Air Force in Berlin in the 1960s.(See? I toldja I’m an incipient geezer!)
