Japan has a wonderful culture, and there are many aspects of it that I love. However, I still feel there are significant issues regarding women and LGBTQ rights.

It only becomes an issue in Japan after it has been highlighted internationally.（Since it’s an image from a radical feminist account, I hesitated a bit about using it.）

The recent sexual misconduct issues involving Japanese television (Fuji TV) have become a global topic, but as I also felt during the “Shiori"case, there seems to be a tendency in Japan to ignore such issues until they are brought up by international media.
