If we still have to do this conference tournament gimmick, and we have at least 16 teams in the league, the tournament should be split 8 & 8. One bracket in Charlotte, the other #Greensburra. One bracket ACC classic, the other ACC new money.

To be clear I don’t *think* he’d replace Stankoven as 2C at least to start, rather replace Jankowski as 4C and then you can flip-flop as needed.

Also could be a good Staal replacement once he decides to retire. That deal is a lot more manageable with the cap now.

This is the one move I could see them making instead of standing pat. You worry with so few games left in the season about fit and acclimation but you don’t have to worry about that with Trocheck.
