Fully agree on both counts. Not being a Juve fan, and I donโt even think it was a yellow card. A foul definitely, but not with intent. As you imply, he did need to land somewhere and thatโs what was under him.

I worked the desk at one of the dorms at the University of Maryland when Esiason was there, and I promise you he has been insufferable for more than 40 years.

As someone with strong links to Baltimore but who hasnโt been there for probably 5 years, this was very interesting. Iโm sorry not to have seen the exhibit.

Interesting project that does make me smile. Having said that, I donโt like the โdigital preservationโ terminology. Digital documentation yes. But I would argue that digital preservation is more about how are you going to preserve the point cloud and other digital info.

I had the opportunity on a work trip to Axum and Lalibela to visit the quarry site near Axum where the stele originated. A very interesting addition to the already fascinating visit to the stele.

Meet the new ministers - Egypt - Al-Ahram Weekly
Egyptโs House of Representatives on Tuesday signed off on a sweeping cabinet reshuffle, approving President Abdel Fattah El-Sisiโs nomination of new ministers as part of Prime Minister Mostafa Madboul...
Gihan Zaki, a former member of the ICCROM Council, was just appointed as the Minister of Culture of Egypt. She was an important contributor to the work of ICCROM during her time on the Council and I wish her the best going forward in this important new role.

Iโm laughing because by definition, Olympics are international and I can think of at least a dozen countries where I have been (including the one where I live now) that are worse than any state in the U.S. No U.S. state would even get a bronze medal.

This is true for every city and town in Italy (no matter how small). There are always interesting details to be discovered.
