The deed, obtained by The Hatchet, authorizes ADS to develop the campus into a data or information technology center. STORY TK”
GW‘s student newspaper appears to have broken the story that the institution has sold a satellite campus to Amazon to be turned into a data center, which is just about chef’s kiss for the state of American higher education rn

You guys, my niece danced a solo in her school talent show tonight set to "Baby, I'm a Star" by Prince.
She's 10. Was not present but confident it was the best thing since Billboards.
Exclusive: BBC Radio 3 has ended its relationship with Norman Lebrecht following an email to Yuja Wang the pianist described on Instagram as "derogatory misogynistic bullying."

They changed the funding structure a few years ago here, switching the allocation from course enrollments to majors then blamed these departments for a structural, top-down change. This is entirely a political choice.

This is the home of Michael Farris, the Home School Legal Defense Fund and Patrick Henry College. Of course there's an incredibly messy conservative local government.

Every Olympics, some version of this story.
I suspect Olympians, like regular-tier twentysomethings backpacking around Europe, like free useful stuff and/or fun novelty items they can bring back home to friends. www.theguardian.com/sport/2026/f...
