I wrote this one a little over 15 years ago, demoed it and tucked it away. I was inspired by the story of Hypatia of Alexandria... Just another one I wanted to put out there... ya don't have to listen to it.... but I like it

I was going for a roaring 20’s speakeasy gangster feel. I figured it’d set the mood. I added brass, stride piano, fiddle, few other bells & whistles. I call it “If You Say Age Is Just A Number”. during the great depression Americans were brought me & cornered.

I say let’s write a song about what trekker crew members have to deal with, and go total Jean-Luc on em… but don’t spring it on the audience right away… let it build up, ferment for bit… like they do down in engineering, making that space hooch, running that creek water ;)

I just arrived. I would like to ask where are the poets, artists, studio engineers, songwriters, film producers, astrophysicists, mathematicians, structural engineers, mechanical engineers, medical researchers, and a good pair of scissors is… for some reason my mom tied a pork chop around my neck
