Commission refuses to allow more water in chicken meat | Euractiv Producers say that the current limits don’t apply to today’s fast-growing animals

Not only do fast-growing broiler chicken suffer many welfare issues, but consumers buying such meat are paying water for the price of protein.
Good that the Commission is rejecting calls to weaken rules that protect systems better for animals and consumer wallets.
