I hadn’t known this. Two men who were accused of sexual abuse on the Shitty Media Men document that I created back in 2017 reached out to Michael Wolff for help as they looked to sue me, and Wolf forwarded their concerns to Jeffrey Epstein. Epstein offered to help. www.jmail.world/thread/EFTA0...

Mamdani Forces Delivery Apps to Pay Back $4.6 Million Cheated From Drivers
New York City's new mayor, Zohran Mamdani, has already scored a major win for deliveristas working for three delivery giants.
The main business model of Silicon Valley from Uber to AirBnB to Spotify is: skim profit off others' goods and labor. Often in ways that are exploitative of individuals or destructive of larger forces (as with Amazon and the retail that kept people heading out in public).

It was always dubious to hear claims that Epstein was some sort of Renaissance Man but with the fuller picture of how dull he was it's now indisputable that the sole reason anyone interacted with him was because he was a pedophile and they thought that was cool and intriguing and wanted in on it.

really tired of seeing claims that our illegal kidnapping of the Venezuelan president is to "distract" us from the Epstein files. Trump and the men around him have wanted this for a long time. this is a bad thing in its own right, not some attempt to hide from accountability

“Be kind, be involved, believe in your art,” he said. “At a time when people tell you art is not important, that is always the prelude to fascism. When they tell you it doesn’t matter, when they tell you a fucking app can do art you say, if it’s that important, why the fuck do they want it so bad? The answer is because they think they can debase everything that makes us a little better, a little more human. And that, in my book, and in my life, includes monsters.”

This widely shared post, which claims to show Venezuelans celebrating the fall of Nicolas Maduro in Venezuela, is false.
The video was actually filmed in Miami, Florida, and not in Venezuela.

This video, viewed millions of times on TikTok, Facebook and X, claims to show Venezuelans taking to the street to thank the US for detaining Maduro.
But the video is a combination of four AI-generated clips and was first posted on TikTok by a user who frequently shares AI videos. It's not real.

THREAD: Viral misinformation on US capture of Nicolas Maduro - 4 January
This video, shared by Alex Jones and others, falsely claims to show millions of Venezuelans in Caracas celebrating Maduro's capture.
In fact, it shows anti-Maduro protests in July 2024 over a highly disputed election.

Hundreds of Iraqi civilians take to the streets, cheering U.S. soldiers and ripping up posters of Saddam Hussein. Iraqis Rejoice at Saddam's Capture
DECEMBER 14, 2003 • 12:00 AM ET
By Ivan Watson
Audio for this story is unavailable.
News of the capture of Saddam Hussein by U.S. troops sets off celebrations across Iraq, as citizens in Baghdad play loud music and fire into the air.
The former dictator was found in a camouflaged hole near a farmhouse outside of Tikrit. Hear NPR'S
Ivan Watson.
People being like, "But Venezuelans are happy about Maduro being gone!" have the memories of goldfish. IN 2003, the narrative was that Iraqis celebrated the U.S. invasion and capture of Saddam.
Whether they were happy or not, invading Iraq was still the wrong thing to do.

Brad Pitt Is Fooling You
The F1 press tour has been a carefully tuned charm offensive meant to obscure Pitt’s alleged violent behavior toward ex-wife Angelina Jolie.
Tūliņ arī LV sāks demonstrēt.
Man šķiet, pirms tam ir vērts izlasīt šo rakstu.
Lai nav tā, ka esam gatavi pašausmināties par Žizeles Peliglē gadījumu, bet vienlaikus tikpat gatavi arī bez mazākajām pārdomām priecāties par visnotaļ simpātiskajiem brediem pitiem.
