Heard about it in the ‘80’s, when Pope JP II seemed to be against it. Never understood why. Much later, I learned about a distant cousin was a Jesuit priest in Central America and was a professor of Liberation Theology at UCA. He worked with Romero and the Jesuit Martyrs. He died just recently.

Woke up early this morning to the evil of Trump’s ICE Proud Boys - this text came in overnight from a friend in USA who’s now spending his retirement supporting persecuted immigrant families. His protection is he’s white and middle class. But this is what’s happening to the poor.

Police not wearing masks and having body cameras hasn't stopped them from being abusive to the point of killing, why would that be your benchmark? More people will die with these reforms.
