what needs to be understood is that outside of massive events like Barbie or Zootopia 2, regular mass moviegoing is dead, people are out of the habit and unlikely to pick it back up

so the key is building out wide bases of people who see moviegoing as a kind of easy-access hobby, like a book club

If Disney is still moving forward with their future plans to produce generative AI content for their brand, then I am not going to bother giving Disney any of my money for this unethical nonsense.

Live Action Films are a big cash grab, due to how frequently they are rushed out.

I am not blaming the artists at all, I am blaming the corporations for exploiting nostalgia and disregarding animation as an inferior medium which it isn't.

Pixar was bought back in 2006 by Disney, but they're still an ANIMATION STUDIO!

Animators & Artists working on these projects deserve better recognition.

This is why I hate Disney as a corporate side.

This deserves harsh backlash.

I'm dedicating myself to only seeing the animated projects since they are made by thousands of artists.

All others like Star Wars; Marvel; Live Action; Avatar and all other projects I'll happily boycott.

There were several special screenings of Zootopia 2 that went and paraded some of the artists that worked on it and now seeing this it all feels so shallow and hollow and useless and I wish those artists didn’t have to sit and take it because it’s one of the few stable jobs left.
