The party has in recent decades abandoned all the main tenets of labourism but still clings to one last tenet: that the party does not overthrow disastrous leaders. Why does Lab still cling to this under Starmer?

Labour has lost the argument - the latest poll shows 54% in favour of independence. But instead of making their case to the public, they've decided to block the democratic process.
When landowners say they it doesn’t matter who owns land but instead it is how it is managed that matters, I always ask if I can have their land & they can continue to manage it. I have had no takers yet.

Former Labour MP turned hard Brexiteer Gisela Stuart selected Friedrich A. Hayek's 'The Road to Serfdom' as her key political visionary text. Hayek's book makes the case for unfettered free market capitalism & is one of the cornerstones of Thatcherism. What a political journey!

And you are an MP in the party of power to boot.
