We made a major overhaul of our procedural map gen in "Deadly Days: Roadtrip". We now defin biomes, which swap certain texture slots and our #Unreal PCG graph. Map generation is still the same (street, parking lot, etc.). Gives a lot more variety and future possibilites. #indiedev #gamedev

I am quite fascinated by #godot GDscript iteration speed. I've been working with #unity and #unreal for years now and I'm constantly having to wait minutes here and there. GDScript changes are instant. A completely different way of working. How in Unreal? #gamedev #indiedev

We considered something like this too (one dedicated experimentation day), but since always on the edge capacity wise it is hard. So for us a concentrated week makes more sense. But I really love that you can fiddle around in your GaaS game and hopefully find new cool opportunities.

#UnrealTips: Enter Culture=leet in the command line and your game will show up in leet speech. This allows finding fields that are not properly set up for localization. In Editor it changes the editor language too, see pic πŸ˜† #UnrealEngine #gamedev #indiedev
