Thank you. We hope you are too. Pius has loosened his cone and Mom can't get the tightness quite correct so he has had to be watched carefully today. He has a long body and it's easy to get to the sutures if the cone isn't perfect. ❤️ #VDayParty2

He's finally improving! Now he's bored and restless and he has a lot to say! He has a lot of birdies to watch so that will help a little bit but it's going to be a challenging few days until he can return to normal activity.

They removed one of his sutures and gave him an anti-inflammatory for his bladder. He looks to be healing on schedule. He has another 6-8 days of recovery. We can't wait for him to feel better!

Saw the vet today because he was pulling at stitches, even with his cone. They removed the one he was pulling because it was healed. His bladder is still a bit inflamed so he got new meds. He has another 7-9 days of restrictions + cone. He seems happier and is monitoring the outside for rodents now.

How fun! We will try to pop in on Saturday! Pius will still be stuck in his cone!

The cone comes off and the stitches come out on the 18th. He has to go back into the vet today because he is able to reach his stitches despite the cone! It's a good thing he doesn't mind riding in the car because he takes a lot of trips in it!!

Thanks, Lily. We were a little worried about him yesterday as he was spending a lot of time in the box but he seems to have settled down a bit today. Hopefully he will continue to improve. He has 10 more days of the cone!!
