But what about the Prequels? Episodes II and III don't have much in the way of main character aliens. Like, Yoda, maybe?

And stuff like Tauntauns might be part of that feeling.

I know, but it is a good point. I am trying to work out why Andor FEELS like it has less aliens, when numbers-wise it actually has a lot of aliens.

Huttese, actually! I believe these came from some sheet of "Huttese glyphs" that must have been used as inspiration for the Huttese font eventually created for TCW. Some of them appear rotated or altered between this and the Huttese font.

I think this is absolutely true in SW and ESB, otherwise, why are they called "aliens"

The Rebel Aliance had basically no aliens pre-1983
