So many people have grown up to be the villains of our stories.

Devilled eggs are awesome too! But love a good well made egg salad. I think they get a bad rap because so many places make them so bland but it can be delicious!

It was the best was when grams made fresh bread using the bread machine. I used to help her peel the eggs and made the egg salad. I always wanted lots of sweet relish in it. Need to make egg salad and fresh bread to put it on and enjoy a bit of nostalgia. Miss grams and gramps.

Even though my family was pretty much nonreligious we still did Easter egg hunts as a kid. I realized I probably was a weird kid because while the candy was nice, my favorite was hunting for eggs because after we got to make and enjoy egg salad sandwiches.

For those who don't know, have both ADHD and am Autistic, also while I don't currently take any meds I do have depression and am supposed to be on antidepressants. Being forced to spend years growing organic food to "treat" these things is insane and fascist.

I was trying to figure out why this time with Trump is feeling so much more hopeless, and was wondering how we got through it last time.
Then I remembered last time we had Mom here with her quick wit and hopeful words letting us know we would eventually be okay.

Basically did the same the other day when it was super cold, snuggled into the couch with my robe, blanky and a huge heating pad for my back and watched comfort movies. Was very healing and relaxing. Oh and a big pot of tea.
