Been a little while, but I’ve finally got another new character! Recently I challenged myself to create one in the space of a single evening, and the result is this lovely Luxray lady.

Details are still pending, but I hope you all look forward to seeing more of her soon!

I’ve watched the trailer at least a couple times before, but I never noticed how much changed between then and the final game. I guess the trailer was made using footage from earlier builds

Items glow with a bluish aura, the cliffside area is more snowy than the final game, Velma was running from the Creeper in the main hall of Mystic Manor, and the Black Knight’s character model is noticeably different

I won’t lie I kinda wish he had the faint glowing eyes in the final version

It’s pretty similar to how Twilight Princess’s scrapped magic meter can still be seen on the back of the box for the Wii version.

But looking back on the Scooby trailer, a lot of in-game assets are noticeably different

Time for some trivia on this one. So, I was gonna talk about how the health bar in Night of 100 Frights was different in the launch trailer compared to the final game, implying it was changed late in development.

you can really tell he enjoyed recording the lines for this.

Meanwhile his heel turn later plays to another thing Tim Curry is well-known for; delightfully devious villain performances. It’s a perfect blend of sinister and theatrical.

We really got the best of both worlds with this movie ^^

Ben Ravencroft from Scooby-Doo and the Witch’s Ghost

Firstly it needs to be said-what they did with Ben Ravencroft in The Witch’s Ghost is honestly brilliant, given he’s voiced by Tim Curry.

Tim is a huge fan of the series, so letting him play a character who’s a fan of Mystery Inc. and investigating alongside them must’ve been an exciting idea-

You know, Halloween this year has really put me in a Scooby-Doo kinda mood. With the holiday winding down, I might ramble here and there about my favorite bits of the franchise. Could be episodes, trivia, monsters, mysteries, etc.

Every time I replay I can’t help but wonder if the writing would’ve been better if the game didn’t have such a hectic development

Yeahhh even as someone who enjoys Infinite, I can’t defend the writing behind Daisy and the Vox Populi. It sends an awful “two sides” message and goes so strongly against what the game’s first half was saying.

It’s doubly disappointing because other aspects of the game do feel well-thought out.

It’s pretty surreal when you think about it, doubly so when you realize a Scooby Doo episode of all things ended up keeping these elements of the original story
