He shook his head and began to load up the back of the Uber with their combined luggage.

“Good.” He grinned as he kissed her deeply, before picking up her packed bags and heading out to the Uber Black that he’d called for them, moments before asking her about her packed bags.

“I’m ready for this, with you.” He glanced over at her, and smiled warmly— how could she have been more —

“So you found out about the surprise trip I had panned… have, planned. Hmm.”

He wrapped his arms around her from behind. “Well… you didn’t EXACTLY know what it was- still…” he smirked. “I guess this is just going to be a me and you trip now, after all.” He kissed her temple; mumbling against it. —

“Addie…”

He inhaled sharply, before closing his eyes.

“If you keep kissing my neck like that…”

He inhaled deeply, before exhaling as he wrapped his arms around her in turn.

“Please, remind me again how I became so lucky, my dear?”

He laughed before sliding his hands away from her eyes; grinning proudly.

“The love of your life, that’s who.”

He grinned while covering @adailadecosette.bsky.social’s eyes up from behind.
