Overall, aside from the underwhelming staging, i really enjoyed this year's UMK (can we have Sami-Jorma pair for every year? I'll stop begging for alma pöysti) and highkey looking forward for tampere 2027 🤩

Wonder what they have next in store, a freaking string quartet/band but all of them are conductors? (I mean, this is finland). Or a metal superband?

Lowkey looking forward, please keep surprising me for this segment.

"Dance Pop, Hip-Hop, what is the next supergroup in the store?"

Last year are the year i started enjoying UMK intervals that are consisting of supergroups of a certain genre. And this hip-hop supergroups are no exception (although my stream are crap during this one).

I will not assume anything aside from the title (which I as creative can relate and see).

But now, I need him to LOCK TF IN to rework pete and linda staging for vienna.

Staging, which came wonderfully at stills but the broadcast highkey made me scream louder than pete in the ending of liekinheitin.

But i think the most noticed one was in Kiki's. It feels like wasted potential for a song that is strong top 3 contender.

While I think the overall production of UMK is great, it doesn't come without its flaw. And it doesn't go unnoticed, worse, it's seen too clear, even to audience home.

I feel underwhelmed at 90% of staging of the song. Even with liekinheitin -c

Personally, I think it's really the time for EBU to lift the ban of live instruments as well (been saying this since forever).

The demand is here and there, and it's not funny to see actual classical musician hand-syncing bro.

Audience love to hear and see live instrumentalists doing their thing. And it gives back a good result at the end.

3. This 2026 season is really year of FIRE HORSE with abundance of energetic dance pop, but comes with lack of good and powerful ballads in the final lineup.
4. Also, I THINK we should stop saying a certain stage will be expensive or something and let audience determkme that one at the end bcs

1. You can say a song or staging suck, mid, chop, outdated, or even write a 10 page essays about why you don't like it (that's honesty). But straight up being racist or slutshaming towards the artists are NEVER one of the critique you think it is.

This and add my inability to watch 2 shows simultaneously 🙃
