We’ve had some good news about potential summer signings and obviously a trophy yesterday (and winning at SB), but can’t help but feel it’s distracting fans from another poor transfer window. Are you still thinking we will be taking a big risk by not signing another player before the window ends?

I think when we haven’t won the league in 7 years and we’ve really only challenged for it once in that time, we need higher standards than wingers who contribute in other ways than goals. I’m also not suggesting Liv plays every minute, but it’s almost every game she’s subbed at 60

What are your opinions on the stanway links. Personally dislike the way Renee wants the midfield (I like a double pivot - don’t like using cm/am instead of actual dms). I get she wants physicality, but whether it’s GS, KCC, Mario or Vic, they all need Kim next to them, so it’s still not a great plan

Getting really tired of liv being subbed often at 60 minutes. She could be our best attacker or the most needed against tired legs and we don’t get to see it. £1m signing and can’t play 90 is insane when you look at how bad our other wingers are. I think it’s clear we’re not doing anymore business this month. I’m aware it’s harder to do business in the Jan window, but given how dreadful this season has been (and how busy the second half will be) I would say it’s pretty unacceptable to not add a single ceiling raiser in any area. Thoughts?

Is it fair to say getting a 6 has to be a non negotiable for the winter window? There’s a gaping hole in our midfield every game and our creativity up top is suffering because Mariona is having to drop so deep - she literally took the ball from the cb for stina’s goal today.

I’m inclined to not put that pressure on Katie yet. She’s ben good so far defensively but doesn’t really offer anything going forward. If she was left footed I would say her + Leah would be a great match. We’ve needed a top LCB for 2 years now and I would have Katie as first choice back up/rotation.

Keeping underperforming players for too long, buying back ups when we should be upgrading, ignoring glaring issues we’ve had for years (LCB, pulling out on the Walsh deal and now we’re playing the ballon d’or runner up ridiculously deep). It doesn’t take a genius to see why we can’t win the league

Aware this doesn’t solve anything right now, but is it time to seriously question the club still just blatantly ignoring our awful recruitment? Squad planning has been appealing for so long now and yet they still aren’t even looking at bringing in new people in that department.

Reid said she has always tried to use both feet as much as possible. I reckon we’re more likely to see Leah and Reid at cb, rather than lotte. Renee has also never played Leah in midfield, but she has tried Codina, Reid and Jenna

I think we can guess the forwards and obviously daph, fox, Steph etc. will be starting but the midfield and rcb are less clear. Have you come to a conclusion on who you think will fill the remaining spots come first game of the season? And do you think Sophie stays with us for a bit now?
