So in major pain and pissing pure blood, I called my surgeon’s answering service at 2am. Thirty minutes later one of my surgeon’s residents found me in the waiting room and got me into a room right away. I shouldn’t have had to do that. 🤦‍♂️

4 days after having a kidney removed due to cancer, I went to St B because my urine was the colour of cola.
I was told there would be an 18 hour wait! They only decided to take a urine sample after I raised hell. Then I was told that I wasn’t in danger of dying so I had to keep waiting.

I appreciate the suggestion. The story was a report on the town hall, and not a delve into the benefits of a safe consumption site. While people seem to want to help, the context here is they’re already in an impoverished are plagued by crime and drug use. They see SCS as bringing more.
