Make two backups, especially of any creative work. It's well worth the effort. #justincase

The coldest days bring the bluest skies. Have to get up from my desk and go out once in a while.

I inherited some Brandstetter books about 25 years ago when a friend was doing a major clear-out before an apartment move. Sunk into Fadeout one evening and didn't come up for air until the next morning. Brilliant stuff.

This little publishing house project of mine is coming along nicely. One title down, two to go to finish the proof-of-concept. I've also read a couple of great stories by writer friends that I may want to add to the upcoming first year of my publishing program.

I wonder if the follow-up question is meant to be a (near-)mockery of "writer" as a medical condition . . . ?

Now that November's Drunk Fiction event is over, there is still a stack of my debut chapbook available: signed, numbered test print editions which will go out of print when they're gone. DM me if you'd like one. $10 all in, mailed within Canada, $15 outside. (Why more? It's the postage, dear!)

Introducing October Park Editions. Test print run of the "Tsunami" chapbook for my new micropress came in this week. This project is the culmination of years of learning, observing, experiencing, experimenting, risking, and navigating steep learning curves. Launching three titles in February '26.
