Terry is an amazing person period.

I will say that even though I have no intention of speedrunning Metroid Dread, learning some of the tech certainly makes playing the game more interesting.

I just really like the fact that MercurySteam put in intentional skips and tech and didn't patch out some of the glitches like Pseudo Wave.

I feel really good about learning the routes for Chapters 1 and 2 in TMoS. I was able to do both without looking at my notes. Chapter 2 boss fight is still scuffed, but that fight is just scuffed in general. Time to go take notes for Chapters 3-5.

All in all, had a really good time learning.

So I have an MRI scheduled for my lower back in three weeks. I got the estimate for it today. H-O-L-Y S-H-I-T. I can't imagine having to do this without insurance.

Roughly $2900. Luckily my insurance is paying roughly $2600, but JFC...

I do want to bludgeon this down a little by saying that I did force my way through it to take the first steps in learning the speedrun for TMoS.
