I’m curious if there’s any legal issues with Marvel Rivals being so blatantly a copy of Overwatch (and also if I was Blizzard I’d be PISSED about the hype vs that of OW2). Any lessons to be learned there?

There is a general *faith* that AI produced content (like video games) is inherently non-political in the same way that Science was proposed objective in the 19th century. Malinowski studied the Pacific tribes and judged them barbaric. This was Science too.

The reason I’m so against introducing AI in video games (and saddened to hear Musk is going at it) is that I consider it an artform and I don’t want to play games that no one bothered to craft

Terrible Game Idea: It's a detective mystery game except you must fake all the evidence because it's actually you who is guilty of all the crimes you're "investigating".
