I'm forcing myself to read it, not because of the topic, but because I need to re-learn how to read fiction... my imagination has disappeared. It's all science now....

For two years, the only YouTube videos I could watch were documentaries and civilian recordings from the March 2011 tsunami. I had a bad hyper-fixation on tsunamis as a whole. And now I happen to be reading a book about 3/11... it almost feels wrong.

It's definitely saddening what's happened with my schoolfriends... I really hope that we can reconnect once school begins again. But until then, I will try not to get my hopes up... and just live normally!

The coming of this break from school has left me lonely once again. One relationship has already fizzled away, and others don't reply. I suppose it really was all out of convenience... it's a shame, but I'm not so upset anymore. Or at least I'm trying not to be 😸. This is the lifestyle I'm used to!

It's been fun reading this because it was written in 1997, so Sagan talks about the future discoveries of the Cassini Spacecraft... which is almost "old history" to me! 😹

Reading the final book by Carl Sagan, "Billions & Billions"... all of his writing has been such a pleasure to read. I want to savor his words, but my lone is due in 16 days. It's plenty of time, but still. He was an incredible astronomer and author

Very simple-minded creature

I did a project for my Art History course which required I read some books. I researched John William Waterhouse's "Hylas and the Nymphs." One of the books I checked out hadn't been used since the late 90s... it felt somewhat magical to "revive" it and have my name stamped inside.

It's fun to go to cafés and then spread all of your loot about the table... reading... eating the most delicious "vanilla" ice cream you've ever had... that tastes like cotton candy and bubblegum... with a dear friend... the internet does wonderful things.

I was really starstruck by the view... I didn't angle the camera properly to show it well because I was too focussed on looking outside of the window. That's how you know I was taking in the moment 😼
