With the planet warming and an increase of growing days here in Maryland, Zone 7 we've got the urban Cassiopeia Garden and Orchard started.

9 potato grow bags completed and 3 beds of peas this weekend. My grow partner has completed pruning of the plum trees and moved on to the pears.

Put away another 2 jars (32 oz. each) of dried peas yesterday. O2 Absorber and Desiccant pack in each. Vacuum sealed them.

Water is the hardest part, even living nearby to the Susquehanna River. Lots of filtering, then purification necessary. Drops, powders, and tablets only last for so long before expiring. Our first set will need replaced in October 2026.
