Text Reads: I am seeking participants for research exploring ways to improve access to healthcare for LGBTQ+ people living with chronic illness in England.
I am looking to speak to people who: are 18+ and live in England; identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, nonbinary, queer, or/and as part of the LGBTQ+ community; consider yourself to live with one or more chronic illness.
What is involved? Taking part involves two online conversations (interviews) and a creative task. Your participation in the project can be spread over several weeks.
Who is carrying out the research? I am a PhD student based at Liverpool Hope University. I am trans and bisexual and I live with multiple chronic illnesses.

Day 203 - lil bit of spss this weekend cos I'm stressed about how long its taking, made up for it by impulse buying some plants for these pots we inherited. Hoping they'll be a bit harder to kill than houseplants π€

Embracing Authenticity in Academic Presentations
The author reflects on speaking at various queer and autistic conferences, emphasizing the challenges of conforming to normative presentation styles. They found comfort in familiar environments andβ¦
Despite talking about a #queer subject in queer spaces, I still find myself trying to fit a normative way of presenting. Using academic speak, trying not to rabbit hole, working out when I can swear. I am a storyteller in many ways, and this is no exception. #AutRes
