I have a thought about reimagining Moby Dick if Ahab was a robot and the eponymous whale was corurpted by something dark and thus was the obsessive, vengeful one, but I have never actually read Moby Dick and so feel like I should do that before taking that idea further

This skin description is weird? Like he's designed to look like a conservatory come to life, and in his recall he's resisting the pull of corrupted roots

He reads more like a building taken over by a magical growth that is resisting its corruption, rather than, as Maokai usually is, nature's wrath

Cho'Gath and Xerath are not as obvious but are statuesque fascimilies of the two faces of Demacian nobility - their knights and the silverwings. But where Cho'Gath is rendered as more monstrous in form he remains valorous, where Xerath plays host to a twisted darkness despite his human form

Nautilus and Maokai are the most obvious given they're both large buildings come to life. Where Nautilus transitions grandly from building to golem, Maokai is a twisted wreck of a building, rendered in to a being that should not be

I really like these corrupted petricite skins, but I also like them as contrasts to the prior two - Maokai and Xerath are essentially twisted versions of Nautilus and Cho'Gath conceptually, it's really neat

I kinda wish I had more to say on here these days, alas I do not
