Picking apart all the assets on their own, there's color, there's all these flourishes, it looks like it /should/ be doing a lot more heavy lifting, but just seeing it all together it just feels... I dunno, just nothing's really happening~

What's yall's read on it? How does it do that??

Ok so I'm trying to piece together stuff in my head, and I wanted to ask yall what yall thought!

I have a suspicion that, like me, when yall saw HighGuard on the game awards, there was this weird feeling of like... it being uninspiring and generic~

Highly recommended! Don't have any examples on-hand, but it's a relatively straightforward process, and it really shines on a lot of castings out there~!

It's a shame though! I love HotWheels, especially considering how affordable they are for the kinda quality you get! Plus, there's a lot of castings that take wheel-swapping REALLY well!

Oh, and that koifish Skyline from M2 I showed?

It's supposed to have little side mirrors mounted to the front fenders, but those broke off the INSTANT it came out of the box because they were affixed only by "the idea of superglue" from the factory~

Those shits are GONE and I cannot find them~

Also, yall go grab some Tarmac Works, Inno64, and Kaido House toy cars if yall want stuff like Hot Wheels Premiums but don't wanna have a fist fight in the Walmart parking lot with the guy who bought all of them off the truck before they hit the shelves!

Cost a lil' more, but totally worth it!!

Honestly, since M2 toys are in big box stores, whereas Tarmac Works aren't and Hot Wheels are frequently scalped/collected, I'd argue that M2 could up their quality AND their prices and still have a relatively decent niche to fill~

For comparison, Hot Wheels Premium and Tarmac Works

HW - Lower detail, uses castings from their mainline toys, but the fit and finish is rock-solid and feels good in the hand

TM - Twice the price but detail to match with good QC, a faithful recreation of the car that doesn't feel flimsy

Just a little ramble, but while "M2" brand toy cars have some nice castings and liveries, I feel like their push for high-detail/features opens them up to feeling lower quality than they should due to poor QC~

Feels like they'd benefit from fewer details/same price or better qc/higher price~

It really sucks, the whole trailer looked like ass from the animation to the mechanics, and it's WILD that it's still getting this kinda traction~

Hell, personally I still think Palworld is bad, but the pickmon trailer made it look pretty well put together by comparison~

Buzzfeed was trying to force Kyra and her team to use AI for a Chikn Nuggit project. She left in protest because she's an actual hero. The fallout for Buzzfeed has been...real bad, so naturally, they're suddenly open to discussion. Keep being loud about how Ai is NOT acceptable.

All that being said, I'm glad we have the option to suppress so many different kinds of cartridges out there, and it'd be nice if this sort of equipment was easier to acquire, considering the impact it makes on the user experience!

But a suppressed gun and a regular gun both sound the same to me when I wear my hearing protection~

There is no instance where I would want to recreationally fire a gun, suppressed or not, without hearing protection~

(Also I just think a lot of them look goofy on pistols)
