Really great animation work, this is the first time I've seen the character and just from this I feel like I know something about them 👌

I was guilty of this until I started building my own UI, well... I guess I'm still guilty 😅

Where to store information, how it's not just one, but MANY layers of different moving parts. And how you go about making all of it work efficiently... it takes skill.

Yeah you're totally right. I feel like people don't realize how much goes into a good UI. It's not just a bunch of pretty images, there's also a ton of back end going on.

I've just started treating every art asset I add as a placeholder 😅 because I know I'm going to make revisions in the future.

It's so weird how that works, Art takes so much time! Even though I'll run into bugs while programming, art still seems to take so much longer. 🤔

That's it, I'll say it... UI is hard. Anyone else find it to be one of the more difficult sides of making games?

That game was so good! I still never beat it. A little niche but the water shader in that game was ahead of its time 😅
