Writing a literature review feels like a never-ending labour of love. I keep finding new papers and interesting angles to add. In a sense, it's the epitome of thinking as writing for me: helps me reframe knowledge & develop my own voice and vision.

Europese bedrijven beloven AI-haast te maken, maar willen wel fors minder regels ASML, Philips en ruim zestig andere bedrijven gaan hun best doen de AI-achterstand van Europa in te lopen. In ruil voor miljardeninvesteringen willen ze wel dat Brussel de teugels laat vieren.

Dutch companies: the ban on emotion recognition with AI is inconvenient because having an AI helpdesk aware of your emotions would be nice.
Me: yes, AI recognising I'm unhappy when I type "speak to human" is EXACTLY what I want.
