As we see right now, you may be able to vote a party IN, but voting a party OUT is not the business of the people, and “rights to protest” doesn’t pose much of a backup when the state’s police forces could suppress it, or worse, solicit control of information for individual reprisals.

It’s not so much of a problem of “one party/two parties/multiple parties” as people tends to claim—the fact that a “party” could exist and operate beyond the interference/control of the masses in ITSELF is a problem.

Sometimes I’ve been thinking, for ages after ages, Chinese people turned to western countries like the US for examples of hopes for a more “democratic” or “moral” political system.

Looking at it now, China provides the US a warning, but the US did not give China an answer.
