I can’t remember who said it in an article way earlier in the season, but I remember reading one that mentioned this is what was going to happen after Alim got back. He would be thrown into playing a lot until he got back and then he would get a break once Alim got back.

I get the commanders aren’t great right now but I’m glad we are looking a lot better. Not sure what we tweaked and it looks like Dan is more involved in calls so maybe that has to do with it. Either way, I’m selfishly hoping we can get Monty a TD so we can break that record

I was encouraged by Dan saying he can play tackle too. I like options. I know he was a late pick but I’m hoping he turns out like Mahogany as far as being a good starter option down the road. Dan has a way of making me feel better when the sky feels like it’s falling

As was expected. No worries. This season will probably end up being about getting Tate and Mahogany (before the injury.Rip) experience so we can hopefully be better next year on the line. Maybe we get things going enough to make a decent attempt at a playoff win. I’ve accepted that now. Let’s get it

Oh no, I don’t expect you to respond at all to any of the droning on I do about the team and that includes on the podcast live chat. Since Sunday I’ve calmed down and moved back a little on firing Morton. I wouldn’t be upset if he was gone next year, but I think they can work through this.

Just saw the saints traded one of their Oline to the chargers so I guess that makes 8 now haha funny timing

I have no idea. I haven’t looked at when the last big Oline trade was but there’s been like 7 in the last 20 years or so so I’m not surprised I can’t remember. I saw one person say edge but people pushed back on it. I was surprised most people were sensible on the defense this time.

Which reminds me, I want to say thanks for putting up with me on here. Especially on days where we are playing like shit. I know I blow your stuff up a lot and comment a lot and it’s not lost on me that I’m probably a bit much when we are playing like shit. Stuff I have to work on.

That’s wild. I thought I was going to get banned on Sunday. I had a mod tell me on the game day thread to be civil and not troll because I asked everyone in a bit of anger how we felt about being 5-3 before the game finished. That was in the 3rd or 4th I believe. Funny enough, couldn’t reply to them

I haven’t seen anyone point at other big names because there aren’t any for Oline. Amazingly enough, most are saying we need Oline, not defense. There’s a few posts asking about defense but people are saying no, we need Oline. Most of the fury is about Brad holding on to picks and throwing this year

I’m sure you can guess the reaction on Reddit to this one with great accuracy. Not that Reddit is the best place to find sane fans. I don’t have Twitter anymore but I’m sure it’s the same over there too.

It’s depressing that this year is coming down to hoping the line can get enough reps in to get it together and get our run game going or otherwise it’ll be a wasted year with a long offseason of hoping it’ll get fixed. Bright side is we have a lot of people under contract for a few years

It’s all just frustration and if I’m being totally honest, fear of wasting yet another year. It’s jarring seeing guys this talented on this offense play this sloppy and out of sync every week since the Ravens game regardless of the wins. We have guys locked up for a while but a bad OC will kill that

I don’t get how he can look at the play calling every week and be that optimistic about things. Like you pointed out, on 3rd down even when we executed we were still coming up short. I don’t know what the hell Morton is thinking, and I get defensive play matters, but the screens aren’t working
