The breakdown by age group. Birmingham's 30% is made up of 26% in the 18-24 and 25-49 groups, and 35% in the 50-64 and 65+ groups. Manchester's got 40% with 18-24s, 35% with 25-49s, 33% with 50-64s and 29% with 65+ The implication being that Manchester is far more popular with younger adults and it's a tossup for Gen X, only Boomers show a clear preference for Birmingham
