here's some step-by-step instructions on how to reveal some erroneously hidden posts from your feeds (those marked by bluesky as "rude")

i've seen totally innocuous posts get hidden for this reason. it doesn't even work as intended, so i recommend updating your settings

Rude Rude or impolite, including crude language and disrespectful comments, without constructive purpose. Highlighted Off, darkened Warn, and darkened Hide buttons.

If you aren't seeing skeets from some of your fave people, they might have been labeled "Rude" by bsky mods. Idk what they are thinking, I don't need a mommy to tell me who to be buddies with. Anyway, go into Settings > moderation > bluesky moderation (advanced) and turn Rude off.

Holy hell it’s good to seem some young faces. Also seeing Mamdani win against a billionaire backed opponent is just…refreshing. This system needs to be dismantled. But leaders like this might just help pave the way.

I like Mamdani.
But what really gives me hope are the voters. Because it shows, that if you stand behind workers and marginalized people and don't fuel the hate on immigrants and trans people, people do vote you. And not just despite, but often also because of it.

Don't forget that Zohran Mamdani spent his entire campaign standing proudly beside the trans community. He went to trans rights rallies just to show support. He proudly waved trans rights flags without hesitation. He refused to back down in support of trans rights. That makes me happy.
