Over the last three weeks, we interviewed all 10 Tacoma Mayor and Council candidates about transportation and mobility issues, and had them ride transit with us while doing it. It'll take a bit to get them edited and posted, but I'm excited to share those conversations with folks.

Sorry for the lack of optimism! I try not to be a downer but I have to be realistic. Community Transit receives twice the funding of PT and was more able to plan for Northgate.

More local funding would result in increased frequencies to FW, but no plans for new routes there in the long range plan. Obviously that could change, but to be completely honest I don't see a path where new service to FW happens in the next year. No money, no operators. We'll see what ridership is.

At a red light. Truck driver across the intersection decides to treat it like a stop sign, creeps forward then runs it. Driver in front of us decides "oh, guess we're doing this!" and runs it too, bizarrely throwing up their arms in exasperation as they choose to break the law.
