In the pantheon of brutal losses, that'll be up there for the Clippers, at least in the regular season. Up 1 with 30 seconds to go and had the ball, gave up a runout for a dunk, unforced turnover on the inbound, then couldn't rebound two separate missed free throws. Woof.

Final: Spurs 116, Clippers 112. Clippers looked on verge of reaching .500 for first time since early November. Unfortunately they blew a 25-point second-half lead. Spurs sure are incredible. Kawhi Leonard had 30 points, 26 for Brook Lopez. Clippers are 30-32; at Memphis tomorrow.

Clippers had more than enough chances in this final minute to win. They just didn't get the proper execute that's required. That's going to be a very, very, very tough loss.

What an incredible final minute full of swings and crazy plays.

When this San Antonio Spurs defense decided to ramp it up an extra gear, they are damn scary. This has the makings of a “how the hell do you even score on them?” defense. Every offensive possession feels like a massive battle.

Spurs lead. 49-22 run. 99-97 Spurs. Clippers timeout with 7:09 left.

Clippers led 75-50 with 9:20 left in the third. It’s been a 42-22 Spurs run since and the Clippers’ lead is down to 97-92 with 8:53 left. Spurs are 7-for-11 on 3s in the second half. Clippers have not been offensively or defensively crisp.

End Q3: Clippers 92, Spurs 81. Clippers had a 25-point lead. But San Antonio ended the third quarter on a 31-17 spurt behind a plethora of 3s. Brook Lopez has a game-high 22 points. Big final 12 minutes coming up as the Clippers look to hit .500 again.
